Desire Street Ministries, located in New Orleans, is an incarnational ministry focused on indigenous leadership development. Rev. Mo Leverett and his wife moved into the Desire neighborhood and founded DSM in 1990, a time when the Desire project was ranked the worst in the country. Mo began his youth outreach as a volunteer football coach at the local high school with a vision is to see Desire become a desirable place to live. To this day our mission is to revitalize the Desire neighborhood through spiritual and community development.
