Conference
A diverse group of athletes and their families representing the NFL, CFL, NBA, MBL, NHL, NCAA Sports, Olympic Sports, Rodeo, Auto Racing, and the WWF were in attendance for this years conference. God really worked in the lives of those who attended through the life changing messages that were spoken by some of Americas most gifted ministers of the gospel. Powerful, life-changing sessions were lead by Bishop Carlos Malone (Miami, FL), Allen and Cheryl Rice (Houston, TX), Bishop Jack Wallace (Detroit World Outreach), and Jentezen Franklin (Free Chapel Worship Center).
Many 1st time commitments to Christ were made as well as Baptisms in the Holy Spirit. On the last night, a water baptism was held in the pool at the Radisson Resort. Marriages were strengthened and many lives were changed.
The final event of the conference was an Athletes Service at the 7000 seat sanctuary of Phoenix 1st Assembly of God. This church is one of AIMs partner churches along with the support of Pastor Tommy Barnett. The Omega Force Strength Team performed and athletes gave their testimonies in a powerful Sunday morning service.
One of the highlights of the conference was the athlete outreach trip to the Adobe Mountain and Black Canyon Detention Centers. Over 175 young men and women gave their lives to Christ as the WWF Wrestlers and Omega Force Strength Team shared their testimonies. The Road Warriors, Sean Michaels, Sting, and Nikita Kollov were able to tell these kids how Jesus loves them, wherever they are and in spite of what they have done.
